Country Roads (Take Me Home to the Place Where I Belong)

This is my beautiful and graceful Mom.  She is the strongest woman I have ever known.  See her arm around me and her hand pulling me close to her?  It's such a loving touch, a knowing touch.  When she does that, I feel so vulnerable and child-like.  At those times, I can look her square in the eye and put words to the feelings my heart carries.  We have a special bond from having spent heartache together over things we don't speak of too often, but then again, we don't need to.
